Ridgewood Baptist Church

1920-1921

Rev. J. Brainard Brown came as pastor of our church on January 8, 1920.

He was especially interested in young people's work and instrumental in renewing B.Y.P.U. activities in the Aurora Baptist Association. He also organized and sponsored a Boy Scout troop, and was very interested in the civic organizations of Joliet.

Due to ill health, Rev. Brown was somewhat hampered in his work, and he chose to resign on June 5, 1921.
